7 Brad Pitt Movie Sequels We Badly Want to See

  • Bullet Train is one of Brad Pitt’s most underrated movies that deserves a sequel.
  • One Brad Pitt movie sequel we’d love to see is a follow up to World War Z.
  • Seven and Snatch are among the best Brad Pitt movies that need sequels.

Brad Pitt is easily one of the biggest movie stars of the modern era. He left a lasting mark years ago with movies like Snatch and Fight Club. He could have stopped there, and he’d have been a legend forever.

He kept going, though, and created numerous other unforgettable roles. Some of those roles would be fun to revisit.

That brings me to seven Brad Pitt movie sequels that arguably need to happen. Some are more realistic than others, but I personally crave more, and I bet you do, too.

7. Bullet Train 2

Sometimes you just need to have fun at the movies. Bullet Train accomplished that and then some, and Brad Pitt was a huge reason why.

You can learn more about the specifics in this Bullet Train movie review, but the point is the film was a ton of fun, and the door is wide open for a Bullet Train sequel.

This was admittedly not one of Brad Pitt’s highest rated movies, but the audience (76%) at Rotten Tomatoes absolutely loved it.

If director David Leitch is willing to work his magic again, I have no doubt Pitt would show up and play the leading role with similar charm and charisma.

6. World War Z Sequel

Pitt should reprise his role as a United Nations employee in search of a cure for a world run over by zombies.

Everyone loves a good apocalypse flick, and Pitt does a great job balancing fear and determination.

The first movie was a decade ago, but it left things open for a sequel. It’s been talked about quite a bit, too.

There’s fear it may never happen, though.

I’m not sure what the studio is waiting for here, as Brad Pitt isn’t getting any younger.

Of course, you don’t need Pitt for a World War Z 2. It’d just be nice to see him continue the story, is all.

5. Fight Club 2

As crazy as a Fight Club sequel sounds, it actually isn’t that ridiculous of an idea. Chuck Palahniuk did revisit this universe with a Fight Club 2 novel, after all.

Besides, Brad Pitt’s Tyler Durden is eradicated with a self inflicted gunshot by Edward Norton. Are we really to believe that’s the best cure for schizophrenia?

Pitt and Norton have both gotten quite a bit older, and there’s something to be said about leaving a classic alone. But who says no to more Fight Club?

I’ll be honest, I’m afraid of it happening. But it’s also one of the top Brad Pitt movie sequels I’d be positively giddy over.

4. Once Upon a Time in Hollywood…Again

It is fun to imagine which Brad Pitt movies should get sequels, but we’re usually caught somewhere in the past. Turning somewhat irrelevant stories into something fresh again isn’t so easy.

But what about a movie that came out just a few years ago?

Quentin Tarantino’s love story with 1970s Hollywood – and a re-written brutal murder – was quite the fun ride, and we got to see Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio team up in glorious fashion.

This one isn’t just about Pitt, as you can tell.

We’d get more DiCaprio, another beautifully directed Tarantino tale, and a cast that is sure to wow us every step of the way.

What the story would be is actually somewhat irrelevant, but we can assume it’d be something fun and weird stemming out of La La Land.

It probably won’t happen, but some believe it’s actually already in the works.

3. Ocean’s 14

Nobody is coming out and directly asking for another Ocean’s 11 movie. However, the original remake of the Rat Pack franchise was a smash hit, and it had us begging for two more installments.

The last “Ocean’s” film landed in 2017, and we’ve since got a female-led story with Ocean’s 8 in 2018.

The formula is still a hit; a bunch of sharp and witty criminals trying to stage an improbable heist. When you pile on the likes of Brad Pitt, George Clooney, and Matt Damon, it becomes impossible to ignore.

It also can’t be ruled out just yet. While the gang said the most recent Ocean’s flick would be their last, there are rumors they want back in.

Another Ocean’s movie would be easy to put together and a ton of fun for the cast. I tend to think most Brad Pitt fans wouldn’t be too sad about it, either.

2. Snatch 2

Basically any Brad Pitt movie sequel is possible as long as the character he played isn’t dead.

If the main character is still out their roaming around, the next criteria for demanding another movie?

Whether there’s a story to be told.

When it comes to Guy Ritchie and his impeccable casts, I doubt there would be an issue there. And it’s nice to hear that some people from the first movie want to do another.

Brad Pitt’s bareknuckle boxing pyke delivered a litany of memorable (albeit hard to distinguish) quotes, and his care free persona was quite the counter to a frazzled Stephen Graham and an increasingly frustrated Jason Statham.

There’s also the reality that Ritchie has admitted to wishing he’d done Snatch sequels in the past.

While it seems like Snatch 2 is unlikely over 20 years after the fact, I doubt die hard fans would turn the idea away.

1. Seven Sequel

Last, and certainly not least, I’d love to see a Brad Pitt sequel for the movie Seven. Yes, the first chapter perfectly wrapped up, but once again, there’s more story to tell here.

Pitt’s character was a brilliant young detective who played right into Kevin Spacey’s hands. It led to an amazingly dark ending, and also put Pitt’s character behind bars.

But are we really to believe the justice system wasn’t going to give this guy a break? After all, a serial killer tormented him and put his wife’s head in a box.

Touching such a perfectly crafted film is dangerous, but what happens with his court case? How does that character evolve once he eventually gets out of prison?

There are so many paths to be taken here. Perhaps Pitt’s character is consulted years later on a copycat murder case. Maybe he uses his skills as a private investigator.

Whatever it may be, a Seven sequel isn’t that outlandish, even if David Fincher hasn’t publicly expressed interest.

That does it for my look at the best Brad Pitt movie sequel ideas. I’ll admit not all of these have a chance of being made, but a few could still make sense.
